Business Process Reengineering and Implementation of Production Planning and Control Systems for PAPOUTSANIS SA
Production planning and control procedures and systems were developed in integration with the company's ERP system, applying innovative methods in the context of two research projects. On the one hand, methods for optimizing the flow of materials in the company and methodologies for redesigning business processes supported by IT systems for the management of materials (ready-made, semi-finished and raw materials) were applied. On the other hand, planning, coordination and quality processes were designed and implemented along the supply chain of the collaborating companies that utilized information and communication technologies.
