Cotton Biomass Energy Recovery, Including Solutions for Collection, Transportation, and Storage​

The study was carried out as part of the research project "COTTON BIOMASS ENERGY RECOVERY (COBER)". The aim of the project was the investigation of energy production from cotton biomass. Logistics issues (collection-transport-storage) of the biomass were investigated in relation to the technological perspectives and the optimization of the efficiency of the whole system, simultaneously with the minimization of the total cost.In the project, the optimal methods of recovery of the thermal and electrical energy were simultaneously examined and qualified while simultaneously reducing the emission of greenhouse gas pollutants.
