Development of a Blockchain-Based
Traceability Information System

Research Project "Counterblock" with the collaboration of the organization GS1 Greece, the IT companies Optimum and Cetniva and with application in the Troupis Winery and the logistics company Synergy.

The project concerns the design and development of an innovative traceability information system to avoid counterfeiting at the different stages of the supply chain. The system incorporates standards and technologies for marking and tracing products as well as  blockchain technology for security in the sharing of information. It includes a pilot application in the wine and spirits’ sector.
